I will close this essay with a challenge directed to the cultural networks that are engaged in the struggle to use technology as a creative platform for social, cultural, and individual change: that in the coming months they formulate new ways that they can share the collective knowledge and wisdom they have gained. With a thoughtful open-platform of dialogue and action in this area, the long-term vitality of these networks and their presence as a significant feature of the cultural landscape will be guaranteed.
now reading:
teaching
teaching is an action, an action that embodies creativity as a way-of-doing: a life praxis. in a matrix of social structures and pathways it formalizes the path of movement of energies between two people, the teacher and the student. at the same moment of this formalization, equal energies must reverse the implied hierarchy of this polarization and exchange the roles of the participants: the forces defined and applied by the social matrix re-configured or simply discarded. the two collect the sum total of their knowing, rooted in the sensory awarenesses of experience, and bring it to the forefront of relation. the reciprocal flow of life energy thus initiated must hold as its frequency the organic synchronicity of the two individuals and the existence of formal structure must dissipate into a Presence of genuine and open dialogue. an exchange, a movement of energies that generates a surplus that both might walk away from the encounter inspired, that is, with a higher state of energy, than when the encounter began.
because neoscenes teaching activities are in vastly differing physical, cultural, temporal, and infrastructural frameworks, there is seldom sense in having a 'standard' web interface outlining the workshop or seminar. this is also a meaningful conceptual choice. to leave rigid plans aside, enter the teaching situation with clear senses and empty agenda; rely on the spontaneous generation of relevant knowledge that is directly dependent on the individuals who have come together and their life interests.

areas [keywords] of teaching experience include (in no particular order): tactical media, networking, systems, learning, distributed presence, creativity, energy, military-industrial complex, globalization, photography, video, audio, performance, technology, networks, collaboration, happenings, fluxus, situationists, new journalism, new media, remote presence, telepresence, telematics, telecommunications, geo-sciences, e-culture, streaming media, visual-sonic art
some points and hints for students :: a remix
point be where you are, look deep into the world from your point of view, and into the self, and out to the Other. share what you experience
point find a flow that you can tap into, do so, pay attention to it, and see where it takes you
point learn how to focus your energies on something; do that, at least for a time, and see what reflects from that focus
point action makes anything possible -- there is no such thing as failure, there is only change
point be open to all possible flows -- incoming and outgoing -- this will show up as (r)evolution in your life as well as a lived practice
point movement along with an intuitive flow will reveal truth in its variable forms -- seek it out
point creativity and rationality are two words which partially describe human behaviors -- no words can describe the full reality of behavior. creativity is the movement of energies, rationality is the play of social abstractions -- deal with both, you will have to anyway
point seriously enjoy what you do, -- if you don't, then try changing what you do until the enjoyment returns -- smile, it's Lighter than you think
point keep your own rules and points in mind while understanding that rules are only socially applied pathways that determine possible ways of human collaboration. collaborate often: define new pathways!
hints: breathe, listen to your breath, listen to the breath of other things

It was a forum where people were expected to exercise autonomy, participate, to analyze beyond paradigms of society, this promoted by ideas on networking, sustaining relationships based on mutual exchange, promoting growth for both parties, operating based on personal fulfillment over financial gain or security.
